On your first visit to us, please bring your glasses and a list fo medications you may be taking. Also, please bring a picture ID and your current
insurance card. You will be asked to
complete a medical history and an information form. A complete eye examination takes approximately one hour and includes
examination for glasses (refraction) and dilating the pupis with drops to allow the doctor to fully see the inside of your eye.
The drops may cause temporary blurring of vision (especially for reading) and sensitivity to bright light.
If you have been referred by another physician, please tell us at the time of your visit, and we will provide him/her with a summary
of our findings.
Patient education is an important part of our commitment to your eye care needs. If you would like to learn more about eye conditions
and treatments, please visit our Multimedia Learning Center. If something is not clear, please don't hesitate
to ask. Should you have any suggestions or complaints, feel free to discuss them with the doctor or an assistant.
